Job Summary/Organizational Impact:Room attendants are assigned to service guest units while maintaining preset standards.Tasks include but not limited to sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, making of beds, cleaning of kitchens, including stove, oven, microwave, dishware, pots, pans, silverware, appliances, and cleaning of the bathrooms.Other duties include servicing of front office lobby & restrooms and swimming pool restrooms.Only applicants who are Hawaii residents will be considered.Primary Responsibilities/Essential Functions:Cleaning of guest units.Changing of bed linen/towels.Follow established chemical procedures.Follow all safety guidelines.Perform other duties as assigned.Communicate with the various departments for owner/guest requests, needs and concerns.Qualifications:Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.Must be available to work on any day of the week and shift.Must be able to complete work timely and accurately with attention to detail.Perform the job in a friendly, professional manner, and with the greatest amount of Aloha toward guests and fellow employees.Education:High school diploma or the equivalent is required.Experience:Any combination of formal education, training, or experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the duties satisfactorily is acceptable.On-the-job training is provided.Language & Skills:Must be able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$21.50 - $22.85 per hour Benefits:401(k) Dental insurance Health insurance Vision insurance Location:Lihue, HI 96766 (Required) Work Location:In person.
