Executive Chef / Catering Director We are a wedding venue seeking an experienced and business-minded Executive Chef to lead and grow our in-house catering program. Stone Garden is an outdoor wedding venue offering tented ceremony and receptions on the waterfront. Our events are down to earth but elegant offering an elevated backyard feel. This is an opportunity for a motivated culinary professional to build something meaningful within a thriving event business. We host approximately 50 events from May-October annually. About Us We are an established wedding venue with strong bookings and a dedicated team. We pride ourselves on exceptional client experiences and are now expanding to include catering services. We currently offer planning, coordination, event rentals, floral design, and a licensed bar service. The Role We are looking for a chef who brings both culinary creativity and operational discipline. We are a husband and wife team and are looking for someone that will fit in well with the culture that we have created. The right candidate will have some experience in wedding catering, but is eager to grow with us as we expand our operations. Responsibilities include Menu development and pricing strategy Food cost control and margin management Vendor relationships and ordering systems Health code compliance and kitchen systems Hiring and managing catering staff Work with couple directly for the catering consultations Creating scalable catering packages for the varied client budgets Ideal Candidate 1–5 years professional culinary experience Experience in catering or banquet execution required Strong knowledge of food cost percentages and purchasing Calm, solutions-oriented leadership style Team-focused and ego-free Entrepreneurial mindset Compensation Structure We are open to two possible structures: Option 1: Salary + performance-based bonuses tied to profitability Option 2: Structured equity participation for the right long-term partner Compensation will reflect experience and leadership ability.
