Local & Travel Job Title:RN - Cardiac Catheterization Lab (Cath Lab)Location:Harlingen, TX 78550Shift:Day Shift 07:00 AM - 4:30 PMDuration:13 Weeks (Contract) Position Summary:We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab to support a fast-paced cardiac catheterization lab.The RN will provide high-quality nursing care to patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures while collaborating closely with physicians and the cath lab team.Key Responsibilities:Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedural nursing care for cardiac catheterization and interventional procedures Monitor patients' hemodynamic status, cardiac rhythms, and vital signs Administer medications, including IV drips and sedation per protocol Assist cardiologists during diagnostic and interventional procedures Maintain sterile technique and adhere to infection control standards Operate and troubleshoot cath lab equipment as needed Accurately document patient care and procedural details Respond promptly to emergencies and participate in code situations Ensure compliance with hospital policies, safety standards, and regulatory requirements Requirements:Active RN License BLS and ACLS certifications required Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab experience required Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, procedures, and hemodynamic monitoring Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity, team-oriented environment Preferred Qualifications:Prior experience with diagnostic and interventional cath procedures Familiarity with conscious sedation and emergency cardiac care Contract Details:Duration:13 weeks Shift:Day shift, 07:00 AM - 4:30 PM Job Types:Travel nursing, Contract Pay:Up to $3,480.00 per week Application Question(s):Best time to connect?
