Take your imaging expertise to the next level with this exciting opportunity for a Catheterization Laboratory Technologist specializing in electrophysiology (EP). As a vital member of a cardiac care team, you'll support catheterization procedures by preparing the lab, operating advanced imaging equipment, and ensuring strict adherence to safety and aseptic practices. This full-time, contract role calls for collaboration, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. Schedule 4 days per week, 10 hours per day Qualifications: Graduation from an accredited Radiology Technology program, associate's degree in a healthcare field, or equivalent required Bachelor's degree preferred Previous experience (0-1 year) in an acute care setting preferred Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA only) PALS (AHA only) required for independent practice in pediatric settings Prefer at least one of the following: RCIS, RCES, RCS, ARRT (R/CI/CV/VI), RDMS (AB/OB-GYN), RDCS (AE), RVT Current Texas state licensure (MRT or LMRT by TMB) Must have electrophysiology (EP) experience Key Responsibilities: Prepare and maintain the cath lab, ensuring all imaging and procedural equipment is fully operational Document patient information, hemodynamic measurements, and imaging results accurately Support physicians and colleagues by anticipating procedural needs and maintaining sterile conditions Operate fluoroscopy imaging, digital image acquisition, and other cath lab technologies Serve as a radiation safety advocate for patients and staff during X-ray utilization Assist in patient transport, participate in daily room checks, and manage supply inventories Uphold infection control practices and hospital protocols at all times If you're driven by excellence and want to grow y
