JOB DESCRIPTION : As a CDL Truck Driver you will be responsible for the safe operation of a commercial vehicle and the reliable pickup and delivery of our fresh through northern and central california. DUTIES Run routes efficiently Meet or exceed designated route times Handle company equipment properly, follow written driver safety rules, and comply with DOT regulations Report accidents and injuries, and any damage to equipment immediately Load and unload cargo Properly track and document activity log Report any issues or incidents to dispatch Inspect truck before and after trip Follow all preferred work methods as designated by position Perform other duties as requested by the Supervisor/Manager Must be available for early A.M. Forklift and pallet jack experience preferred Ability to communicate effectively Ability to work full agricultural schedule No DOT offenses in the previous 7 years or pattern of unsafe practices Not cited for a DOT defined accident in the previous 3 years Previous experience in truck driving or another related field
