In this role, you will be responsible for safely operating tractor-trailers to transport freight across designated routes, primarily focusing on drop and hook deliveries to ensure efficient turnaround times. Key Responsibilities Include Performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance Loading and unloading freight at designated locations, utilizing drop and hook techniques to minimize downtime Ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all federal and state transportation regulations Maintaining accurate delivery documentation and communication with dispatch teams Practicing safe driving habits and maintaining a clean driving record Ideal candidates should possess strong attention to detail, excellent time management skills, and the ability to work independently. A valid CDL-A license, clean driving record, and good communication skills are essential.
