Job DescriptionJob Description CDL-A Driver - Local Linehaul Strange Trip Inc. · FedEx Contractor · Full-time W-2 · Allentown, PA About Us Strange Trip Inc. is a FedEx linehaul contractor operating a mixed fleet of 30+ trucks across the U.S. We run a tight operation built on safety, honesty, and reliability - trucks are well-maintained, and management is available 24/7 when you need us. We're also investing in the future, with Tesla Semi reservations already in place. What We Offer Daytime tractor-trailer position, Monday–Friday starting around 8 am in Allentown, PA Home daily: Return home after every shift (~300 miles/day, 5 days/week) Flexible scheduling: Full- and part-time options - call us and we'll build a schedule that fits Equipment: New Class 8 Kenworth and Freightliner trucks with sleepers and automatic transmissions Compensation Flat rates vary by destination (60–100 CPM) - a full rate sheet will be provided showing routes and rates Drop-and-hook bonuses Weekly direct deposit Paid monthly online safety training Year-end Thanksgiving and Christmas bonuses Holiday pay Benefits PTO from day one: 5 days in Year 1 and 10 days starting in Year 2 Health and dental insurance - available immediately IRA retirement plan Management on call 24/7 Requirements CDL-A license with a minimum of 6 months tractor-trailer experience Based in Allentown, PA and available for local runs Doubles endorsement required - or willingness to obtain one Clean MVR and criminal background Commitment to safety, on-time delivery, and equipment care Ability to follow FedEx procedures and security standards Run Details AM shifts starting around 8 am in Allentown, PA Local dry van linehaul to various FedEx Ground destinations Drop-and-hook - no touch freight Consistent local lanes, year-round freight Apply today and become part of the Strange Trip team.
