We are now hiring a full-time CDL A TEAM driver in Hutchins, TX If you have experience as a Class A CDL Truck Driver for companies like FedEx, Western Express, Dollar General, Amazon, or Werner, you may be the perfect candidate! Do you have a Class A CDL and an impeccable safety record? Safe Pilots, Inc. . is immediately hiring Class A CDL - FedEx Ground Team Truck Drivers! We are looking for dedicated and professional truck drivers to handle unassigned, Over-the-Road FedEx Ground runs from the Hutchins, TX area safely and efficiently! No smoking in the trucks JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must possess a Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL). We prefer candidates who have no driving restrictions. Must possess one year of verifiable Tractor Trailer experience in the last three years Must be able to pass a background check. Clean Motor Vehicle Record- No accidents or tickets in the past 3 years. Must have or be ready to attain a doubles/triples endorsement Ability to follow instructions and complete required training Complete Background Check, MVR Screening, login to Clearinghouse, and take a Drug Test DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: Operate tractor-trailer combination, including doubles (and triples, where applicable) Perform daily pre-trip/ post-trip and safety inspections on equipment Drop & Hook Only. No-touch Freight! Verify and complete required documentation and reports Maintain accurate daily logs Follow dispatch instructions and communicate with dispatch (e.g. delays, arrivals, equipment problems), as required Comply with all applicable laws/regulations, as well as company policies/procedures Perform other duties as required PAY AND BENEFITS: $0.80 per mile for the first 5,000 miles each week $0.90 per mile for all miles after 5,000 miles in the same week No smoking in the trucks Health Insurance, Life, Dental PTO TERMINAL : 1101 E Cleveland St, Hutchins, TX 75141 Schedule - Tuesday - Saturday Military, and Veteran applicants are strongly encouraged to apply.
