This role requires strong attention to safety, efficiency, and customer service. Travel & Service Area Drivers operate within designated service regions based on their home terminal. Routes may include: Local Routes: Daily deliveries within the immediate metropolitan and surrounding areas Regional Routes: Overnight or multi-day trips within a defined geographic region Service Coverage May Include: Deliveries to customer locations, distribution centers, and job sites across assigned states or territories Specific travel routes and schedules will be discussed during the interview process and may vary based on business needs and location. Key Responsibilities Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in local and/or regional routes Transport materials using flatbeds, dry vans, doubles, or curtain side trailers Properly secure loads to ensure safe transit and prevent damage Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections Maintain accurate logs and documentation in compliance with DOT regulations Load and unload materials as required Follow all company safety policies and procedures Communicate effectively with dispatch, customers, and internal teams Work overtime and occasional weekends as business needs require Qualifications Valid Class A CDL license Minimum of 2 years of Class A driving experience Must be 21 years of age or older High School Diploma or GED preferred Ability to read, write, and speak English Valid Medical Examiner's Certificate Strong understanding of DOT regulations and safety practices Ability to secure loads and handle physical job requirements Work Environment & Physical Requirements Ability to lift, push, and pull materials as needed Regular climbing, bending, and securing loads Exposure to outdoor weather conditions Extended periods of driving and sitting Compensation & Pay Transparency Starting Pay: $30.00-$32.00 per hour (actual compensation may vary based on e
