JOB Under the general direction for the City of Coppell’s leadership and the Patron Services Supervisor, the Coppell Arts Center Patron Services Coordinator supports exceptional patron experiences by serving as front-line staff during events, greeting guests, assisting with seating, resolving customer service issues, and ensuring safety and accessibility standards are met. This role enforces policies related to ADA compliance, emergency procedures, and public safety protocols. The Patron Services Coordinator also assists with the volunteer usher program and may serve as Manager on Duty or Box Office Manager during select events. The Patron Services Coordinator must collaborate with Arts Center staff, clients, artists, resident companies, volunteers in a diverse environment. This role requires demonstrated experience in hospitality, customer service, teamwork, and initiative. EXAMPLE OF DUTIES ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED required. 2+ Years of relevant customer service experience preferred, ideally in a live entertainment or public assembly venue. Must have a valid Texas Driver’s license with a good driving record.Knowledge/Skills/AbilitiesTechnical and Industry Knowledge Proficient in event operations at a high-volume performing arts center, convention center, sports venue, hotel, and/or live entertainment venue. Knowledge of basic life safety procedures and emergency protocols for public venues. Basic understanding of ADA regulations and accessibility requirements in public assembly environments. Knowledge of ticketing manifests, event layouts, and standard event operations desired. Communication and Organizational Skills Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently and effectively meet deadlines. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously from concept to completion. Ability to interpret documents, write event reports, and present information effectively. Ability to remain flexible and dependable while working nights, weekends, holidays, and irregular schedules, including extended periods of standing. Customer Service and Interpersonal Skills Excellent customer service and ability to interact with diverse populations.
