Unleash your talent and redefine what's possible. Job Description: BCC Engineering, a Parsons Company is looking for an amazingly talented CEI Inspector Aide to join our team! In this role you will get to assist in the inspection and monitoring of roadway and infrastructure construction projects to ensure work is completed in compliance with FDOT standards, project plans, and specifications. What You'll Be Doing: Assist with inspections and monitoring of assigned field work activities on a project to ensure conformance to plans, specifications, and other contract documents Coordinate work and inspections with contractor's representative as required by higher-level inspectors Under the general supervision of an Inspector or a Senior Inspector, check lines, grades, dimensions, and elevations using standard field measuring equipment Ensure that highways, work zones, and traffic control setups conform to contract requirements Assist in field sampling and testing of component materials in accordance with the construction contract and inspection of completed work in accordance with client's scope of services (plans, specifications, and special provisions) Aid in the inspection of traffic control devices and equipment and reporting of deficiencies to ensure compliance with applicable standards Maintain detailed, accurate records of daily operations and significant events
