The Production Supervisor will lead a team of hourly production employees to meet or exceed company goals and objectives as defined by critical metrics and key performance indicators. This role will build and/or maintain positive engagement with employees through effective communication (verbal and written), enforcing safety practices and adhering to company compliance requirements. This nightshift supervisory position supports cellar operations and wine finishing by overseeing nightshift cellar teams in partnership with larger operations leadership. Ste. Cellar Production Supervisor Job Responsibilities Include Oversee day-to-day team performance and operational flow, ensuring safety, quality, and production objectives are consistently met or exceeded. Maintain and enforce departmental SOPs and training records, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and team readiness. Coordinate with cellar leadership to execute weekly operations, including primary support for bottling and related processes. Apply functional and equipment knowledge to optimize operations, ensuring efficiency, effectiveness, and achievement of production goals. Drive cross-functional collaboration and communication, including partnership with maintenance for equipment reliability and coordination with teams to ensure accurate inventory flow. Foster a positive, inclusive team environment, encouraging teamwork, open feedback, diverse perspectives, and shared accountability. Manage workforce operations, including scheduling, timekeeping, PTO tracking, and payroll accuracy through Workforce Management systems. Lead team performance and staffing, including hiring, workforce planning, performance management, disciplinary action, and employee engagement. Model company values and Ways of Working, setting clear expectations, accountability standards, and ownership of results. Recognize and develop talent, including recruiting diverse talent, providing constructive feedback, and supporting employee growth. Deliver business results by prioritizing high-impact work, maintaining focus on critical objectives over convenience. Supervises adjacent areas/zones to ensure daily operations are carried out safely and efficiently. Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements High School Diploma/GED Required Bachelor's degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant supervisory experience, preferred Valid Driver's License 3+ years of supervisory experience, preferred 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing, winery, or related production environment, with demonstrated progressive growth Prior experience in a cellar, production, or warehouse setting preferred Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with CMMS and enterprise business systems Demonstrated ability to build technical knowledge, apply it effectively, and share expertise with others Basic mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills, including the ability to gather, analyze information, and develop solutions Strong written communication skills with the ability to clearly document and interpret information Business acumen with the ability to understand operational impacts and align work with organizational goals High level of integrity and professionalism; demonstrates respect and accountability in all interactions Ability to work in varying temperatures, humid conditions, and moderate noise environments, with exposure to hazardous chemicals Ability to perform general manual labor, including lifting, pulling, and pushing equipment Ability to stan
