The UPS Store franchise is the world's largest provider of retail shipping, postal, printing and business service centers.Today, there are more than 5,000 independently owned The UPS Store locations in the U.S., Puerto Rico, and Canada.Some of our products and services include standard & express shipping, freight services, packaging products & services, B&W and color copies, print services, large format printing, graphic design services, document shredding, notary service, personal mailboxes, faxing, and direct mail services.The UPS Store Associate is responsible for providing world class customer service every day.He or she must acquire detailed knowledge of all of The UPS Store's products and services, and use this knowledge to sell, cross-sell, and up-sell in order to accommodate all of the customer's needs.Associates must be helpful, friendly, and respectful to every customer at all times.Responsibilities also include maintaining a clean and organized work space, complying with all standards set forth in The UPS Store employee handbook, and diligently following all of the rules and regulations of The UPS Store and our carriers.An ideal candidate should have some experience in customer service, basic computer skills, experience with Point of Sale computer systems, reliable transportation, and open availability that may include evenings, weekends, and holidays.Candidates must also be able to lift 50 pounds or more.Favorable qualities include previous experience in the Shipping/Printing/Business Services industry, experience using commercial copying machines, printing & graphic design experience, and any knowledge of productivity, design & publishing software such as Word, Excel, Publisher, Acrobat, Indesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Lightroom.We immediate openings for both full time and part time positions.There is a potential career opportunity here with a growing business in an industry that consistently sees continued growth.Job Types:Full-time, Part-time Work Location:In person.
