SHIFT - Sat/Sun 8a 5p Mon 3p 12 mid Tues/Wed 11:30p 8:30a Thurs/Fri OFF Responsible to provide students with a safe and structured living environment that fosters student retention, satisfaction, achievement and success. Oversees the daily management of social development programs and uses proper judgment and discretion to resolve student and staff issues and problems. Manages non-class hours residential living environment and ensures quality recreational and evening programming to enhance students independent living and employability skills. Ensures strict confidentiality of sensitive information and integrity of student data. High School diploma or equivalent required. Associate of Arts Degree from an accredited school or preferred. A minimum of one-year experience in program management and direction with a substantial experience working with youth. Must possess a valid in-State Drivers License and meet the Company insurability requirements. Physical requirements include sitting, standing, climbing, walking, lifting, pulling and/or pushing, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching. Demonstrates the ability to lift 40 pounds and / or the ability to assess the lift load in order to ask for necessary assistance. Supervises and manages the Social Development/Residential Living/Dorm Life staff and Department. May serve as the Acting Programs/Social Development Director in their absence. Follows all integrity guidelines and procedures and ensures no manipulation of student data. Ensures Center meets or exceeds DOL/Company performance goals. Supports the Programs/Residential Living/Social Development Director in interviewing, recommending for hire, disciplining, recommending for termination and evaluating the performance of assigned staff.
