Certified Financial Planner (CFP) Frisco, TX Encompass is partnering with a boutique, entrepreneurial Registered Investment Advisory (RIA) firm in Frisco to identify a Certified Financial Planner (CFP®) to join their growing team. They serve a concentrated, high-quality client base across the DFW market, focusing primarily on: High-net-worth individuals Physicians and business owners Retirees and legacy planning clients The firm prides itself on delivering deep, comprehensive financial planning , not transactional advising. Their growth strategy is intentional—adding approximately 6–7 clients per year—to maintain a high-touch, relationship-driven model. The Opportunity This is a mid-level Financial Planner role (3–5 years of experience) designed for someone who wants to grow into an advisory position over time. You will play a critical role in elevating the client experience and expanding the firm’s planning capabilities. You’ll work directly with partners and take ownership of: Leading the financial planning process for new clients Supporting and maintaining existing client relationships Developing comprehensive financial plans and delivering actionable recommendations Participating in client meetings and presenting key planning insights Identifying opportunities to improve processes, workflows, and client experience This role is ideal for someone who is not only analytical but also creative, client-facing, and forward-thinking . Qualifications CFP designation required 3–5 years of financial planning experience (RIA, broker-dealer, or bank environment) Strong communication and client-facing skills Ability to independently manage components of the planning process Organized, detail-oriented, and proactive Creative mindset with a desire to improve systems and processes Preferred (not required): Experience with planning and CRM tools such as eMoney, Holistiplan, or Wealthbox
