Job Full Description Job Title: Certified Welder/Fitter ($16-$22 per hour) Location: Montgomery, AL Job Type: Full-time Pay Range: $16-$22 per hour Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and safety-focused Certified Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with various welding techniques and materials, the ability to read blueprints, and a strong commitment to quality craftsmanship and workplace safety. Key Responsibilities: Perform welding tasks using techniques such as MIG, TIG, Stick, or Flux-Core Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment and tools Inspect welds for accuracy, strength, and compliance with specifications Repair and fabricate metal components as required Follow all safety procedures and OSHA regulations Maintain a clean and organized work area Collaborate with supervisors and team members to meet production deadlines Required Qualifications: Valid Welding Certification (AWS or equivalent) Proven welding experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting Ability to weld carbon steel, stainless steel, and/or aluminum Strong attention to detail and quality Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Preferred Qualifications: Multiple welding certifications Experience with structural, pipe, or fabrication welding Familiarity with shop tools such as grinders, plasma cutters, and torches Forklift or crane certification Benefits: We offer a competitive compensation package along with a range of benefit
