Job Summary Certified Lifeguards for Vasa Park Pool, Mt.Olive, NJ for 06/20/2026 through 09/07/2026.The hourly rate will be $18.00 - $19.00 per hour depending on experience.CERTIFICATIONS ARE REQUIRED.Interviews starting 04/22/2026.Contact Dawna at 908-540-3054 or email:dprenne@gmail.com Responsibilities Vigilantly monitor the pool area to ensure the safety of all swimmers and guests.Enforce pool rules and regulations to promote a safe and respectful environment.Respond promptly and effectively to emergency situations, providing first aid or CPR as needed.Conduct routine pool maintenance tasks such as cleaning, chemical testing, and equipment checks to maintain optimal water quality.Assist guests with pool access, provide excellent guest services, and answer questions about facilities and safety procedures.Perform regular inspections of pool facilities, including cleaning filters and ensuring proper chemical levels.Maintain accurate records of safety incidents, shift reports, and pool maintenance activities.Requirements Valid certification as a Lifeguard from an accredited organization (e.g., Red Cross, YMCA).Current CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation) certification and First Aid training.Proven Lifeguard experience in a busy aquatic environment.Ability to swim confidently and perform water rescues quickly and safely.Knowledge of pool maintenance, cleaning procedures, and chemical handling.Physical ability to perform heavy lifting, such as moving pool equipment or assisting guests in distress.Strong guest service skills with a friendly, approachable attitude.Join us in delivering exceptional safety standards while providing an engaging aquatic experience!
