Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care and medical administrative support, with experience in various medical settings including dermatology, urgent care, and hospital medicine. This role is essential for providing high-quality care to patients while ensuring efficient clinic operations. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, including obtaining vital signs and medical history. Administer medications and perform basic life support as needed. Utilize EHR systems for accurate patient documentation and management. order X-ray and labs in outpatient settings. Support the healthcare team in various specialties such as internal medicine, geriatrics, emergency medicine, and medical-surgical care. Maintain knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, ICD coding, and other relevant skills to ensure effective patient service. Provide compassionate care to patients Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in clinical environment to deliver comprehensive patient care. Experience Candidates should have prior experience in a clinical setting with a focus on: Chronic pain managment, internal medicine Familiarity with medical administrative tasks and patient service excellence. Proficiency in handling EHR systems for efficient record keeping. Knowledge of vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and emergency protocols.
