Certified Medical Assistant (Part-time)

Responsibilities Provide direct patient care, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for examinations, and assisting healthcare providers during consultation. Perform medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient records, and handling insurance documentation. Assist in coding for billing purposes and ensure accurate documentation of patient information. Maintain knowledge of hospital medicine protocols and adhere to safety standards. Support dermatology procedures by preparing instruments and assisting with patient education. Conduct basic life support (BLS) as needed and respond effectively to emergencies. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Stay updated on medical terminology, physiology knowledge, and relevant clinical practices. Skills Proficiency in medical administrative support functions. Experience working with children and Immunization preferred. Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to pediatric and adult medicine. Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare staff. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in managing patient records and appointments. Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a focus on patient-centered care.
