Job Overview Join our dedicated healthcare team as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA1 and CNA2), where your compassionate care and clinical skills will make a meaningful difference in patients’ lives. In this vital role, you will provide direct patient care across diverse settings, including long-term care facilities, hospitals, assisted living communities, and home care environments. Duties Assist patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility using tools like Hoyer lifts and other assistive devices Monitor vital signs, record medical information accurately in EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems Support medication administration under supervision, ensuring proper documentation and adherence to HIPAA regulations Provide specialized care for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or memory impairments, including engaging activities and safety measures Collaborate with nursing staff on critical care procedures such as catheter care, wound management, and aseptic techniques in sterile environments Support emergency response efforts in acute or trauma settings like Level I Trauma Centers or ICU environments Assist with patient transfers using appropriate equipment such as Hoyer lifts or wheelchairs while maintaining safety protocols Participate in infection control practices, including infectious disease care and maintaining a clean, safe environment following aseptic techniques Experience Prior experience working in medical settings such as hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or outpatient clinics is highly valued Demonstrated proficiency with EMR/EHR systems like Cerner or eClinicalWorks for accurate medical documentation Experience providing specialized care such as hospice, pediatric, behavioral health, or sub-acute care is advantageous Knowledge of physiology and anatomy to support patient assessments and vital sign monitoring Familiarity with medical terminology related to geriatrics, cardiology (e.g., catheter care), orthopedics (e.g., Hoyer lifts), and emergency medicine Previous caregiving experience working with individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges enhances your ability to deliver personalized care Certification in basic life support (BLS) or other relevant healthcare certifications is preferred Join us if you’re passionate about delivering exceptional patient service in a fast-paced environment!
