We are seeking a dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team.As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will play a crucial role in assisting occupational therapists in providing rehabilitative services to patients.Job Overview:As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, you will work under the supervision of licensed occupational therapists to help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.Your role will involve working with individuals of all ages in various settings, including clinics, hospitals (inpatient and outpatient), and with special populations such as pediatrics and geriatrics.Duties: Collaborate with occupational therapists to develop and implement treatment plans. Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve their motor skills and coordination. Provide support to patients in learning or relearning daily living activities. Document patient progress and report back to the supervising occupational therapist. Educate patients and their families on techniques for improving independence and quality of life.Skills: Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge. Experience working in medical imaging or occupational health settings. Strong understanding of physiology principles. Ability to work effectively in clinic, inpatient, outpatient, pediatric, and geriatric environments.
