The teams at McCoy Memorial/Senior Care of Marion is passionate about fostering a welcoming and supportive community for residents and their families.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time, on-site role for a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) located in Bishopville, SC. As weel as a full-time, on sote role in Marion,SC. The COTA will assist licensed occupational therapists in providing therapy services to enhance residents' functional abilities and quality of life. Responsibilities include implementing treatment plans, supporting rehabilitation programs, aiding in patient care activities, and contributing to program development. The role involves working closely with the interdisciplinary team to meet patient goals effectively.QualificationsExperience in Occupational Therapy and the ability to follow treatment plans provided by licensed occupational therapists.Skills in Rehabilitation and the ability to support ongoing therapy programs to improve patient mobility and independence.Strong focus on Patient Care and the ability to build positive relationships with patients and their families.Experience in Program Development and contributing to continuous improvement in therapy offerings.Knowledge or experience in Home Care is a plus.Active certification as an Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) from an accredited institution.Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and caregivers.Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to improving the quality of life for residents.
