Now Hiring: Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) – Full-Time We are seeking a compassionate and licensed Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our rehab team at Dahlia Gardens Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation. As a full-time COTA, you will work closely under the direction of an Occupational Therapist to help implement care plans, guide residents through therapeutic activities, and promote recovery and mobility in a supportive long-term care setting. Position Summary: As a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include: Delivering care and exercises based on treatment plans created by the OT Assisting residents with activities that support daily living and independence Accurately documenting therapy sessions and tracking patient progress Collaborating with therapists, nurses, and family members to support care goals Educating residents, families, and staff on at-home and restorative programs Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings and quality improvement programs Floating to nearby facilities if needed based on patient needs Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Current state license/registration as a COTA Experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting is a plus Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and assist with patient movement Strong communication and time management skills Why Join Dahlia Gardens?
