Locums - Jackson, Michigan, CRNA Opening Assignment Details Start Date: ASAP Contract Length: Ongoing Schedule: 32-40 hours per week (8s or 10s) Availability: Must be able to work either Monday or Friday each week Setting: Hospital-based coverage Clinical Responsibilities Provide anesthesia for general surgical procedures (adult and pediatric patients) Assist with neurosurgical cases and spinal anesthesia Perform spinal and local infiltration anesthesia as needed Manage ventilation and monitor respiratory status throughout procedures Maintain continuous patient monitoring (pre-op, intra-op, post-op) Respond to emergencies, including airway management and intubation Daily case volume: 50 surgical cases across multiple ORs Rotate assignments based on departmental needs Document all care in EMR Call Coverage No call required (scheduled shifts only) Practice Setting Level II Trauma Center Supervised CRNA role working with anesthesiologists and surgical teams Collaborative care team model Multiple operating rooms with rotating coverage EMR: Epic Requirements Board Certified CRNA - Required Active Michigan license - Required Minimum 1 year CRNA experience - Required Clean background - Required No employment gaps - Required Certifications: ACLS & BLS (AHA), PALS - Required Why Jackson, Michigan Jackson offers a central Michigan location with convenient access to major cities and a comfortable, affordable lifestyle.
