CFTC Regulatory Counsel

A company is looking for an Assistant General Counsel, Derivatives - Regulatory Legal. Key Responsibilities Serve as primary legal counsel for CFTC-registered entities, advising on regulatory obligations Provide legal support for regulatory engagement with the CFTC and NFA Partner with product and compliance teams to launch new derivatives products in compliance with CFTC requirements Required Qualifications Qualified attorney admitted to practice law in the United States 12+ years of experience in financial services law, focusing on CFTC regulation and CEA-registered entities Deep knowledge of CEA and CFTC regulations, including DCM, DCO, and FCM obligations Experience managing complex regulatory relationships and coordinating with outside counsel Authentic interest in crypto and digital assets
