The successful candidate will be responsible for clinical services, faculty oversight, graduate medical education, quality and safety, and academic advancement. This hands-on leadership role demands a physician with a passion for high-quality, patient-centered emergency care, who can work closely with faculty, residents, nursing, and hospital leadership to enhance clinical operations, grow the residency program, and expand academic and research initiatives. The Chair will also be instrumental in maintaining strong relationships with academic partners and ensuring the Department's alignment with institutional goals. Candidates for the Chair of Emergency Medicine position at the company must be contemporary leaders in the field, with a strong administrative background, a commitment to education, and a track record of clinical excellence. The role requires a physician with an M.D. or D.O. degree, Board certification in Emergency Medicine, and the ability to qualify for an academic appointment.
