Chair of Radiology About the Company Highly regarded provider of diagnostic & interventional radiology services Industry Medical Practice Type Privately Held Founded 1963 Employees 201-500 Specialties cardiovascular neuroradiology women's services oncology pediatric services varicose vein treatment sports medicine mammography and interventional radiology About the Role The Company is seeking a Department Chair of Radiology to lead its clinical and administrative operations. The successful candidate will be a board-certified radiologist with an M.D. or equivalent degree, and will be responsible for guiding the Department in delivering high-quality, accessible, and patient-centered care. This role requires a proven track record in clinical and physician leadership, as well as a strong commitment to fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and innovation. The Chair will also be tasked with strategic and operational leadership across a complex, multi-site clinical environment, and may have the opportunity to serve on the physician board or executive committee, depending on the future governance structure. The ideal candidate for the Department Chair position at the company will have a background in academics, experience in recruiting and retaining top-tier talent, and a demonstrated ability to lead in a dynamic healthcare landscape. Strong communication skills, integrity, and the ability to build trust and collaboration across teams are essential. The role also involves promoting transparency, supporting professional development, and ensuring alignment with the organization's mission and values. While not mandatory, prior administrative experience and a commitment to inclusive and equitable leadership are preferred.
