Job SummaryWe are seeking a creative and passionate Charcuterie Artist to join our team.This role requires creativity, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of food pairings, presentation, and quality ingredients.The ideal candidate will have experience with specialty cheeses, cured meats, fresh fruits, nuts, spreads, and artisanal accompaniments to craft unique and aesthetically pleasing displays.The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various artistic disciplines and a keen eye for detail.This role involves creating visually appealing art pieces that resonate with our audience while adhering to project guidelines and timelines.The Charcuterie Artist will collaborate with other team members to bring innovative ideas to life, ensuring alignment with the overall vision of the project.Responsibilities Design and assemble custom charcuterie orders and grazing tables for events, catering and corporate functions.Select high-quality cheeses, meats, and accompaniments to create visually appealing and flavorful pairings.Maintain food safety and sanitation standards while handling and storing perishable items.Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all materials are properly sanitized and stored.Work with customers to fulfill specific requests and dietary preferences.Keep inventory stocked with fresh, high-quality ingredients.Collaborate with other charcuterie artists, team members and management to develop concepts and designs that meet project specifications.Participate in brainstorming sessions to contribute creative ideas and solutions.Stay updated on industry trends and techniques to continuously improve skills.Ensure all work complies with food safety standards when applicable, particularly as it applies to culinary projects.Assist in food preparation or presentation for culinary art projects, demonstrating knowledge of food handling and sanitation practices.Requirements Strong skills in culinary arts or food-related projects are preferred but not mandatory.Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in the food industry is a plus.Excellent attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.Flexibility to adapt to changing project needs and willingness to learn new techniques.Previous experience in a food related industry or creative arts industry setting is advantageous.Food safety certification is mandatory Join us in creating captivating food art that inspires and engages our audience!
