Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a OR Charge Registered Nurse at King of Prussia Surgery Center in King of Prussia, PA. The OR Charge Registered Nurse will oversee daily nursing activities, ensuring that patient care meets high-quality standards. Responsibilities include supervising clinical staff, coordinating patient care, assisting in procedures, maintaining compliance with healthcare guidelines, and ensuring the smooth operation of the facility. Additionally, the OR Charge RN will act as a point of contact for communication between staff, patients, and their families to ensure a positive and efficient experience. Newly developed OR team functions as a whole with a focus on teamwork and patient care. Qualifications Strong clinical knowledge, including experience in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative care Leadership skills with the ability to supervise and manage a team effectively Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal abilities Knowledge of healthcare compliance, safety, and quality control protocols Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Pennsylvania (or eligibility for licensure) Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a surgical or acute care setting Critical thinking and problem-solving skills to handle dynamic and fast-paced situations Effective collaboration skills with a multidisciplinary team
