Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking individual to join our production team. Attention to detail during packaging of food and dish/ware-washing is critical. We need someone who can help with packaging, labeling, washing, mopping floors, etc. We are a small cheese manufacturer that is looking to grow rapidly due to new contracts recently acquired. Schedule would require work on Thursdays. Additional days as needed, based on competency as we expand, weekend opportunities also available. (in addition to Thursday) Responsibilities Wash and sanitize dishes, equipment, utensils, using commercial dishwashing equipment. Maintain cleanliness in the manufacturing area by regularly cleaning tables, floors, and preparation areas. Assist in food packaging tasks as needed, ensuring that all packaging is organized, labeled and ready. Follow proper food handling procedures to ensure safety and hygiene standards are met. Report any maintenance or repair needs for equipment to the supervisor. Qualifications Previous experience in a food service or culinary environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is a plus. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy items as needed.
