Makeroom Operator (AM & PM Shifts) - Burnett Dairy Cooperative (Grantsburg, WI) Burnett Dairy Cooperative is hiring Makeroom Operators to support cheese production in our dairy facility.These roles are hands-on and play a critical part in ensuring consistent product quality throughout the cheesemaking process.Available Shifts & Pay:AM Makeroom Table Runner Schedule:2-2-3 rotating schedule Hours:5:30 AM - 5:30 PM Pay:$20.00/hour AM Makeroom CIP Operator Schedule:2-2-3 rotating schedule Hours:7AM - 7PM Pay:$20.00/hour What You'll Do:Assist in the production of cheese by supporting cheesemakers Monitor equipment and production processes throughout the shift Track and record pH, acid, and moisture levels Monitor cooker temperatures and cheese flow through the process Perform production tasks such as knitting, milling, mixing, and boxing cheese Transport carts and equipment as needed Follow all food safety, sanitation, and safety procedures Perform general housekeeping and cleaning duties Work Environment:Fast-paced production setting Hot, humid, and damp conditions Combination of team-based and independent work Continuous movement throughout the shift What We're Looking For:Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good communication skills Ability to stay focused in a physically demanding environment Physical Requirements:Continuous standing and walking Frequent bending, reaching, twisting, and movement Frequent use of hands (gripping, handling, fine motor tasks) Lifting 20-30 lbs regularly, occasionally up to 60lbs Ability to work in hot and humid conditions This position is a key part of the cheesemaking process and offers an opportunity to be directly involved in production from start to finish.Apply today to join the Burnett Dairy team.Job Type:Full-time Pay:$20.00 - $21.50 per hour Benefits:401(k) matching Dental insurance Employee discount Health insurance Health savings account Opportunities for advancement Paid time off Parental leave Referral program Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Application Question(s):Must be 18 years old Shift availability:Day Shift (Required) Ability to Commute:Grantsburg, WI 54840 (Required) Work Location:In person.
