About us Saddle Mountain Brewing Company is a small business in Goodyear, AZ. We are supportive, collaborative, fun and our goal is to provide the best craft beer, cocktails and food in the West Valley. Our work environment includes Food provided Flexible working hours Relaxed atmosphere Lively atmosphere We are looking for an experienced Chef/Kitchen Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the kitchen, including food preparation, inventory management, Costing of foods, making budgets, and staff scheduling. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and a commitment to providing excellent customer service. The Chef/ Kitchen Manager must also be able to work in a fast-paced environment and have strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Responsibilities Supervise kitchen staff and ensure that all tasks are completed in a timely manner. Develop staff schedules, determine staff levels, perform interviews. Ensure that all food is prepared according to health and safety regulations. Order and maintain inventory of food and supplies. Train kitchen staff on proper techniques for food preparation and safety. Ensure that all kitchen equipment is in working order and properly maintained. Develop menus and recipes for new dishes. Monitor food costs and adjust menus accordingly. Develop special menus every 4-6 weeks ( 3-6 items per menu ) holidays, and special events. Maintain a strong presence in the kitchen. Inventory is on the 1st of the month, middle (12th- 16th) of the month, and the last order day of the month. Staff accordingly to keep a low labor cost Make a banquet menu, and hold catering events at saddle mountain brewing company.
