Duties Assist with meal preparation in collaboration with the culinary team, ensuring variety and nutritional balance. Prepare food items according to established recipes, utilizing proper knife skills and cooking techniques to deliver delicious, visually appealing dishes. Serve meals efficiently and courteously to our guests, maintaining high standards of food handling and hygiene. Support food safety protocols by adhering to sanitation procedures, proper storage practices, and cross-contamination prevention. Help with food presentation, garnishing, and portioning to enhance the dining experience. Contribute to catering events or special meal services by assisting with setup, serving, and cleanup. Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, utensils, and equipment to ensure a safe and organized workspace. Experience Previous experience in a fast paced kitchen is highly preferred. Background in food preparation, cooking, or restaurant service demonstrates valuable culinary skills. Familiarity with food handling regulations and food safety practices is essential. Experience in menu planning, meal preparation, and food industry standards enhances your ability to succeed in this role. Kitchen experience involving knife skills, food presentation, or catering supports your capacity to deliver quality service. Prior work in a restaurant or food service environment provides a strong foundation for managing busy meal periods efficiently. Knowledge of dietary requirements and ability to adapt recipes or menus accordingly is a plus.
