The Chemical Packager is a unionized position responsible for weighing, filling, labeling, sealing and other packaging operations as well as general warehouse duties relating to packaging materials such as unloading bottle trucks and keeping packaging materials in order. A Day In The Life Weighing, filling, labeling, sealing and other packaging operations for various bottle sizes. General warehouse duties relating to packaging materials such as unloading bottle trucks and keeping packaging materials in order. Transport bulk material, bottles, caps and supplies to filling location. Complete necessary information for recordkeeping. Set up scale, checks bottle size, sets up containers to be filled. Responsible for working safely and for producing quality products. Scheduled training for the role may include first shift work for a limited time. Education High school diploma or equivalent required. Experience Preferred: Work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field. Preferred: Experience in a cGMP environment Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Ability to read and write in English Candidates who are committed to working in a safe and efficient manner. Worker must be capable of operating powered industrial trucks; forklift operator experience is helpful.
