The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic leadership of planning, engineering, design, construction, and sustainability across the development portfolio. This pivotal role involves overseeing a multi-billion-dollar capital improvement program, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with the long-term strategic vision. The ideal leader will have a proven track record in managing large-scale capital programs, a private-sector mindset, and the ability to connect development to the company's overall strategy, operations, and financial goals. Key responsibilities for the SVP and Chief Development Officer include leading the implementation of the master plan, directing the capital program from inception to completion, and establishing priorities that balance capacity, risk, sustainability, and financial performance. The role also requires serving as the primary liaison with government agencies, particularly the FAA, and overseeing environmental and sustainability programs. Success in this position will be measured by the efficient and high-quality delivery of major projects, strong alignment between development, operations, and finance, and the fostering of a culture of execution, accountability, and innovation.
