The successful candidate will be a transformative leader, responsible for representing the advocacy priorities of a large and diverse membership, including hospitals, health systems, and clinician partners. This role demands an exceptional communicator and bridge builder, capable of shaping and translating policy issues, and aligning members around strategic priorities. The CEO will be a strategic partner to the Board of Trustees, staff, and membership, and must be passionate about advancing health care quality, safety, and affordability. Key responsibilities for the President and CEO include fostering member unity on critical policy issues, building trusting relationships across a broad spectrum of stakeholders, and effectively convening and coalescing partners. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of influential leadership and credibility in the health care field. They must be adept at cultivating relationships with policy leaders and be prepared to lead the organization in driving an agenda that influences regulatory and political stakeholders.
