The successful candidate will be a dynamic and forward-thinking leader with a proven track record in executive management, particularly in the areas of philanthropy and organizational sustainability. This role requires a strategic and operational leader who can inspire trust and confidence, and who is deeply committed to the values of the community foundation. The President and CEO will be the primary ambassador for the organization, engaging with a diverse community to understand local needs, build partnerships, and promote the foundation's mission. They will also be responsible for staff leadership and management, financial and administrative oversight, program development, and development of donor relationships. Applicants for the President and CEO position at the company should have at least 10 years' of experience in senior management roles, with a strong background in strategic planning, program development, finance, fundraising, and operations. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a graduate degree preferred. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the philanthropic sector, excellent financial management skills, and a proven track record in fundraising and grants administration. They must be adept at working with a diverse range of stakeholders and have outstanding interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills. The role demands a collaborative, innovative, and transparent leader who can effectively motivate the Board, staff, community, donors, and partners.
