The successful candidate will be a collaborative, visionary, and politically astute leader, serving as the organization's chief strategist, brand steward, and operational head. The CEO will work closely with the Board of Directors to shape and advance the company's mission, guide statewide and global tourism marketing, and ensure strong organizational performance. This role requires providing strategic leadership across various functions, including marketing, communications, government affairs, industry relations, financial management, and talent development. The CEO will also be the primary ambassador and advocate for the tourism industry, representing the company on national and international stages. Applicants for the CEO position at the company should have a proven track record in a senior leadership role, with experience in the tourism, hospitality, or related industries. The role demands a leader who can inspire and drive a team, as well as effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
