The successful candidate will be responsible for defining and executing a bold, future-oriented enterprise strategy that aligns with the organization's mission of creating meaningful employment for individuals who are blind or visually impaired. This role requires a leader with a strong background in strategic and operational management, financial stewardship, and a proven track record in driving business growth and revenue diversification. The President and CEO will also be the primary ambassador for the organization, fostering relationships with government, industry, and community partners. Candidates for the President and CEO position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' of senior executive leadership experience, with a preference for those who have worked in social enterprise or mission-driven environments. The role demands a leader with exceptional relationship-building skills, a strong command of financial principles, and the ability to lead organizational transformation and cultural change. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree (advanced degree preferred) and a background in manufacturing and/or distribution environments, including experience with federal funding and government stakeholders.
