Chief Financial Officer (CFO) About the Company Globally backed insurance platform Industry Insurance Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) for one of its largest and most established divisions in North America. This executive leadership role is pivotal, with direct oversight of a substantial finance function and a key focus on financial reporting across various frameworks. The successful candidate will be responsible for the integrity of financial statements, statutory filings, and regulatory relationships, as well as leading the business in a data-driven, well-controlled environment. The CFO will also play a critical role in strategic planning, M&A activities, and the evolution of the finance infrastructure. Candidates for the CFO position must be CPAs with a minimum of 15 years' progressive finance leadership experience, and a strong background in insurance or reinsurance accounting. Deep expertise in GAAP and regulatory reporting, particularly in a multi-billion-dollar premium environment, is essential. The role requires a leader with a proven ability to influence and lead in a hands-on, flat structure, and experience in M&A and integration activities. The ideal candidate will have a track record of clean audits, regulatory credibility, and a collaborative, problem-solving approach to leadership.
