The successful candidate will be a key partner to the CEO and board, driving financial strategies that support the organization's expansion. This includes leading long-range financial planning, budgeting, and performance monitoring, as well as overseeing financial stewardship to ensure transparency and responsible management of all financial aspects. The CFO will also be responsible for maintaining regulatory compliance, guiding audit processes, and managing relationships with auditors and financial advisors. A strong focus on aligning financial strategy with resident satisfaction and service line performance is essential. Applicants for the Chief Financial Officer position at the company should have a background in senior financial leadership within a continuing care retirement community or a related healthcare/long-term care environment. The role requires expertise in financial and capital planning, including debt financing and long-term forecasting, and a proven ability to communicate complex financial concepts to both financial and non-financial stakeholders. A strong track record of integrity, sound judgment, and organizational sustainability is a must. Preferred qualifications include experience in building scalable finance systems for multi-location organizations, a collaborative leadership style, and familiarity with nonprofit governance, compliance, and risk management for healthcare entities. The CFO will also be tasked with building, mentoring, and developing a strong finance team that supports the organization's operational and strategic goals.
