Chief Financial Officer (CFO) About the Company Popular restaurant group Industry Restaurants Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a strategic and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the financial aspects of its expanding restaurant brand. The CFO will be a key member of the leadership team, responsible for developing and executing financial strategies that align with the company's growth and long-term goals. This includes partnering with the CEO and senior leadership to evaluate new initiatives, franchising, site development, and M&A opportunities. The role also involves overseeing all financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and implementing scalable financial systems and processes. Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field, with a CPA or MBA preferred. A minimum of 10 years' progressive finance leadership experience, including at least 5 years in a senior financial role, is required. A strong background in multi-unit restaurant, retail, hospitality, or franchise environments is essential, and experience in private equity or investor-backed settings is strongly preferred. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in managing P&L, capital structures, and growth initiatives, and must possess excellent communication, leadership, and analytical skills. The CFO will also be responsible for building and mentoring a high-performing finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement, and serving as a trusted advisor to the executive team and the Board.
