Chief Financial Officer (CFO) About the Company Respected property & casualty insurance company Industry Insurance Type Privately Held About the Role The Company is in search of a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join its executive leadership team. The CFO will be responsible for the full spectrum of financial management, including GAAP and statutory reporting, planning and analysis, capital management, and regulatory and rating agency relations. This role is pivotal in leading a capable finance organization and serving as a key liaison to the holding company's finance leadership team. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to shape financial strategy, build on an established foundation, and ensure alignment on reporting standards, capital efficiency, and strategic priorities. The ideal CFO for the company will have a Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, with a CPA strongly preferred. A minimum of 5 years' financial leadership experience within the P&C insurance industry, including a leadership capacity, is required. The candidate should possess deep P&C financial experience, particularly in statutory accounting, reinsurance, and AM Best engagement, and be adept at providing forward-looking insights to support profitable growth and operational excellence. Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills are essential, as the role involves a visible presence both internally and externally.
