The CFO will be a key partner to the CEO, providing strategic financial leadership and driving profitability through operational insight. This hands-on role involves leading a lean accounting team, working closely with plant leadership to develop KPIs, and guiding strategic investments. The ideal candidate will have a background as a CFO or senior finance leader in manufacturing or consumer packaged goods, with deep experience in cost accounting and operational finance. A player-coach leadership style and experience in founder-led or privately held environments are essential. Key responsibilities for the CFO include financial and performance management, financial planning and analysis, operational and cost optimization, and leadership of the finance team. The role also involves overseeing financial management and controls, leading strategic initiatives, and managing external stakeholder relationships. The successful candidate will be a senior finance executive with a proven track record in operationally intensive businesses, adept at margin analysis, inventory management, and financial performance optimization. They should be comfortable working onsite, closely embedded in operations, and have the ability to influence company direction and performance through data-driven insights and strategic recommendations.
