The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership in business services, ensuring legal and effective management practices, and serving as the chief business and budget advisor. This role involves directing and monitoring the management and investment of all funds, maintaining the district's investment portfolio, and ensuring the timely fulfillment of all financial obligations. The CFO will also be tasked with developing long-range and short-term business operation objectives, preparing and monitoring the district budget, and implementing internal control procedures to safeguard assets and promote operational efficiency. Applicants for the Chief Financial Officer position at the company should have a Bachelor's degree in a related field, with a Master's degree and CPA preferred. A minimum of 5 years' experience in school business management or private sector financial management, including at least 3 years in a senior management role, is required. The ideal candidate will have advanced knowledge of school finance, budgeting, accounting systems, and economics, as well as the ability to manage personnel, resolve conflicts, and implement policies and procedures. Excellent communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills are essential, as is the ability to work with frequent interruptions and maintain emotional control under stress.
