Chief Financial Officer (CFO) About the Company Innovative provider of compressed gas storage systems Industry Packaging and Containers Type Privately Held, VC-backed Founded 2017 Employees 11-50 Funding $1-$5 million Specialties manufacturing pressure vessels and high pressure gas storage & delivery About the Role The Company is in search of a Chief Financial and Operating Officer (CFO) with a strong operational focus to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be a key player in the company's growth, responsible for both financial and operational leadership. This hands-on role demands a strategic leader who can also function as an Integrator, ensuring that the company's vision is effectively translated into execution. The CFO will work closely with the leadership team to align priorities, manage day-to-day operations, and drive results across the organization. Key responsibilities include leading all financial management aspects, developing financial strategies, building scalable financial systems, and providing clear financial insights to support business decisions. On the operational side, the CFO will partner with the CEO to drive execution, establish and monitor KPIs, and improve operational processes to support scalability. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a CFO or senior finance leader in a small to mid-sized, scaling company, with a Bachelor's degree in a related field. Experience in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial environments is preferred, as is a background that includes both financial and operational roles. The role requires a professional with the ability to work in ambiguity, build structure from the ground up, and who is highly accountable, collaborative, and solutions-oriented. Preferred qualifications include experience in capital-intensive or hardware-based businesses, familiarity with EOS or similar operating systems, and experience in fundraising, investor relations, or M&A. The CFO will also be responsible for building and leading the finance function, overseeing external partners, and implementing systems and processes that support the company's growth.
