The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the College's financial preparedness and response efforts, strategic budgeting, and forecasting, and optimizing resource allocation to support operational excellence. This role requires a deep understanding of collegiate finances, the ability to collaborate across all units, and effective communication of financial strategic actions to both internal and external constituents. The VP CFO will also be tasked with ensuring that district funds are managed effectively and reported accurately in compliance with all regulations and standards. Applicants for the VP CFO position at the company should have a minimum of a bachelor's degree in a relevant field, with a master's degree or CPA certification preferred. A minimum of 8 years of professional experience in fiscal management, accounting services, and financial system development, along with 4 years of management and leadership experience, is required. The role demands a candidate with a strong background in financial operations oversight, policy and procedure development, budget management, and the use of analytic tools for budgeting. Specialized knowledge in higher education financial strategies and experience with ERP systems, particularly Workday, is highly desirable. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of strategic leadership, team development, and a commitment to fostering a sense of belonging within the campus community.
