The CHIO will be a key partner in a system-wide Epic implementation, with a focus on clinician engagement, adoption, and optimization. This senior clinical leadership role also involves executing a comprehensive informatics strategy that enhances clinical care delivery, supports cancer research, and educational initiatives. The successful candidate will be a critical bridge between clinical leadership, information technology, analytics, and operational teams, driving improvements in patient outcomes, research capabilities, and organizational efficiency. The ideal candidate for the CHIO position at the company will have a strong background in health informatics, with substantial experience in Epic and a proven track record in large-scale EHR implementation. A small percentage of clinical practice is required, and experience in a highly integrated academic medical center or cancer center with a robust research enterprise is strongly preferred. The role demands a visionary yet pragmatic approach to informatics leadership, with a focus on clinical innovation and transformation.
