Job ID 326059 Job Title: Chief ISSO - System LeadJob Category: EngineeringTime Type: Full timeMinimum Clearance Required to Start: TS/SCI with PolygraphEmployee Type: RegularPercentage of Travel Required: Up to 10%Type of Travel: Continental USAnticipated Posting End: 12/31/2026 The Opportunity: CACI's SAFEHOUSE team is seeking a highly skilled ISSM and Software Management Engineering lead to join our cutting-edge Geospatial Intelligence analysis software development and operations. As the Lead Information Assurance Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance of our cyber security operations. You will be responsible for managing a wide range of activities related to information security assessments, application security, information security officers, and overall product and security assurance. Lead/Manage a team focused on creating and maintaining the environments required for program success. This position requires a strong understanding of cyber security principles, project management skills, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. You use these skills where the rubber meets the road, working with the internal development and systems teams as well as the government security experts, doing work that matters for some of the U.S. Government’s most critical missions, and utilizing the latest technologies in Cloud Computing, AI/ML, and DevSecOps. This position is contingent upon award of the SAFEHOUSE contract. Responsibilities: You will also be responsible for leading a diverse team comprised of 4 small teams to include Security, DevOps, Infrastructure, and O&S. Participate in systems design process to ensure implementation of appropriate systems security requirements using applicable baseline security controls (NIST) as one of the sources for security requirements Analyze technical information to determine the best cyber protection technologies; AND recommend implementations for software programs Perform technical analysis to determine the system security posture impact level, evaluate assigned security controls, conduct a technical security assessment, and establish roadmaps for mitigation of vulnerabilities, and produced artifacts to successfully achieve an Authority to Operate from an Authorizing Official Identify and solve technical issues relating to system hardening ensuring system availability, integrity, authentication, and confidentiality Perform assessment and compliance activities by using the assessment tools and procedures within the Xacta IA Manager to manage security compliance and risk, upload artifacts, and track projects as they flow through the RMF process Interface with the Program Management Office (PMO) and Information System Security Engineer (ISSE) while completing security controls implementation, self-compliance tests, security test plans, and creating/updating the Plan of Actions and Milestones (POA&M) Provide final approval of all account creation request ensuring the proper documents and certificates are included; perform annual verification Lead and actively manage 2–3 SCRUM teams composed of Security, Operations, and Sustainment personnel, ensuring effective execution, collaboration, and delivery across mission priorities. Oversee subcontractor personnel and coordinate with external stakeholders across multiple locations to drive high-performing teams and maintain operational excellence. Conduct regular one-on-one meetings with direct reports to discuss progress, address challenges, and set goals. Partner closely with Program Management and Government leadership to ensure security controls are clearly understood, properly implemented, and consistently maintained across the program. Promote and reinforce a security-centric culture throughout the program by encouraging accountability, awareness, and proactive security best practices across all teams. Qualifications: Required: Active TS/SCI security clearance with a polygraph Proven Leadership experience in fostering team growth and driving performance. Experience with evaluating Information Assurance compliance of a system against current RMF and expertise DoD Cybersecurity policies as outlined in NIST SP 800-37 and 800-53, rev 4 Experience with vulnerability and compliance assessment scanning tools and reporting, along with intrusion detection technologies, intrusion prevention technologies, and Host-Based Security System (HBSS) Bachelor’s degree (in IS Technology, Computer Science, or related field) or 4-7 years equivalent experience DOD Directive 8570 IAT II certification (Security+ or
