Chief Operating Officer (COO) About the Company Mission-driven organization providing treatment resources to veterans Industry Non-Profit Organization Management Type Non Profit Founded 2019 Employees 1-10 About the Role The Company is seeking a Chief Operating Officer (COO) to join its executive leadership team and oversee the organization's operational infrastructure, internal systems, and cross-functional execution. The COO will be a key partner to the CEO, playing a central role in ensuring that the organization's strategic priorities are effectively translated into operational execution. This includes day-to-day organizational operations, guiding internal systems development, and supporting department leaders to maintain clarity, alignment, and accountability. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to the mission of supporting veteran mental health, significant leadership experience in operations or related fields, and a proven track record of translating strategy into operational execution within complex or rapidly growing organizations. Candidates for the COO position at the company should possess exceptional organizational, analytical, and systems-thinking skills, as well as strong leadership and team development capabilities. The role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a background in working with executive leadership teams and Boards of Directors. Familiarity with nonprofit governance, compliance, and operational best practices is essential. The COO will also be responsible for financial and resource management, ensuring that the organization's operations are in line with its mission and that resources are deployed effectively.
